“It makes me feel like we should include Saidi more. Because these photos seem very true to how we are all the time and she’s kinda singled out, you know what I mean? Like I really feel the age difference when I look at these.” -Analiyah Elida. 17 (far right)

“Looking at these photos made me feel closer the ever to my brother. After we finished school, we went our separate routes in life but these photos represent our unbreakable bond perfectly, all while bringing me back to the old times.” Angel Pimentel. 22.

A portrait of my dear grandmother, Dalia Minier, accompanied by her son (my uncle) Francisco Alberto Fernandez. Dalia expressed that her favorite place to be is anywhere that her children reside; it’s where she feels the most comfortable. This photo was taken in the living room of Joselyn Fernandez, her eldest daughter, and my mother. This was the first time that Francisco has visited his sister Joselyn in over 10 years.
